A-Happy St. Paddy's Day, and I am wearing my green tie from Mish!
Q-How has your week been?
A-My week has been great. We taught a whole bunch. We talked to a whole bunch of people. And found 3 new investigators and we are teaching one tonight. We had interviews with President on Friday, He is an amazing man. It is pretty great having a mission president and wife who are both younger than my parents because then it just feels like they are mission parents. Instead of like with President and Sister Christiansen who were Mission grandparents for us in Rwanda. It was great because he says he has seen a great change in me since I first got out. He said not only the weight loss, haha, so it is nice to know that I am growing and learning and I hope to do so for the rest of my mission.
I have had a lot of Great experiences this week as I continue to learn and work with the Spirit more and to follow the little Promptings that come. I have noticed that I notice them more than I have ever. I love the work and I am settling into the work better than the last two weeks when the dicussion lessons were so foreign to me that I wasn’t sure what was happening, so it is great.
I know that this is where I was meant to serve my Mission and I know that what we have to share can change people. I know that the Lord loves us and that he knows what we have gone through, and as we turn to Him we will continue to grow and become stronger from Him.
Q-With all the crazy stuff going on in the world, Ukraine - Venezuela - Middle East - Africa, do you stand on the street corner and shout "The End is near, Repent, Repent?" Just wondering...
A-So yeah, what has been happening in the world? I saw some stuff about Ukraine on a TV in a restaurant, but the other stuff i haven’t heard about. Yes, Yes, we do stand out on a corner saying, “Repent Ye! Repent Ye! Why Must Ye Die?!” Helaman 7: 17. There’s my scripture for the email, haha.
